Orbs

I rarely if ever see "orbs" as anything more than dust, pollen or bugs when reviewing photo evidence of our research. To me if an "orb" has a light trail and is of a solid energy like appearance it may possibly be of paranormal nature. Especially if we have other video evidence and/or personal experiences that coincide with those photos. Most times there are plenty of natural causes to debunk "orbs". What are your thoughts on "orbs"?

Dust orbs on video or bugs, etc still can have a light trail appearance. As far as still photos, these are extremely hard to distinguish, you could have a shutter problem, cameras vary, etc. A true energy orb (is not always paranormal) shoulg give off its own light, usually bright in appearance, and you should not be able to see through it. A dust orb characteristically will be translucent and will sometimes have a cellular looking "membrane" around it. Because orb activity even if genuine does not necessarily mean paranormal activity, I don't get too excited over them.

Dust orbs appear as circular spots, they are particles that are accentuated by the flash. Orbs in the distance are also an optical illusion, they are actually floating close to the camera lens and not far away in the distance as they seem to be in your photos.
