I was laying in bed one night almost asleep when it felt like my cat was climbing up my legs, tightening the blankets down around them. (The cat we have now, Gilbert, NEVER walks on me. He won't step on anyone. He let's you pat him but only while sitting next to you!) I sat up expecting to see Gilbert, my black cat, but nothing was there. My door was shut tight and Gilly was not in my room. I have also heard a soft meowing in the house when I had just let Gilbert out the door. And we've felt a poking to our butt while sitting at the kitchen table only to turn around and find nothing is there.
In 2006 our cat Chucky died of an illness in our house. He used to be VERY lovable. He would poke you in the butt when you're sitting at the kitchen table to get your attention. He would climb all over me at night even sleep on my legs or my chest. And Chucky had a very distinctive, quiet, gravely sounding meow(which is what I heard in the house). So I'm thinking Chucky's still hanging around!
