One of the more difficult tasks during evidence review is listening to audio evidence collected from the audio recorders. To ensure an accurate evaluation of the evidence I load the audio from the recorder into the Audio Editor Pro program on my laptop or PC. From there I am able to listen very carefully and increase the volume well above normal range. I find a quality pair of Sony headphones to be essential in this process. To break up the monotomy of the review, I also view video evidence from our stationary cams ( they don't have sound) and take a short break every 45 minutes or so.
